The Crown Jewel of a Loire Valley Country Club Lists for €6.8 Million

In France’s picturesque Loire Valley, a new collection of residences has sprung up on Les Bordes Estate, a lavish country club and golf destination set on 1,400 acres in the Sologne forest, some 90 minutes south of Paris.

Known as Cour du Baron—which translates to Baron’s Court—the development is the estate’s first residential offering, and the most expensive of the 27 homes that are currently available is a single-family residence that came to the market in August for €6.8 million (US$6.81 million).
